£10million January move for Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi.

Doubts surround Japanese star Kyogo’s Parkhead future amid interest from MLS and across Europe.

Rennes head coach Jorge Sampaoli is keen to land him this month in a bid to improve their poor Ligue 1 form.

But French reports claim the club’s sporting director Frederic Massara has yet to rubber-stamp a bid.

Brendan Rodgers has already stated he wouldn’t stand in any player’s way if they wanted to leave, including Kyogo.

But the Hoops are unlikely to entertain any offers for first-team regulars until after their upcoming Champions League games with Young Boys and Aston Villa on January 22 and 29.

Japan star Kyogo turns 30 on Monday and remains Celtic’s No 1 striker — but he could look to explore his options and move on.

Kyogo, who changed agents last summer, was the subject of £10m interest from Atlanta United in the MLS.

They were recently forced to apologise after his signing was announced by mistake.
