We are less than three weeks away from the NBA draft, where Zach Edey is expected to be selected, maybe in the lottery. Obviously, being chosen is the first step, but what comes after might be intimidating for any prospective rookie. Zach Edey has signed with Priority Sports, an agency that represents athletes in both professional basketball and football.
Bradley Beal, Kyle Lowry, and Michael Porter Jr. are among the NBA players featured, as are Kirk Cousins, Mike Evans, and Kurt Warner from the NFL. Aside from Edey, numerous other NBA rookies have signed, including Duke’s Kyle Filipowski, Arizona’s Caleb Love, Marquette’s Tyler Kolek, Kansas’ Johnny Furphy, and UConn’s Cam Spencer and Alex Karaban. Robbie Hummel and E’Twaun Moore are two other clients you might recognize.
Zach and his agent’s first priority after draft night is to begin negotiating a rookie contract with whoever chooses him. The NBA is accustomed to big contracts, so Priority Sports should be licking their collective chops on Zach’s behalf. From there, it’s up to The Big Maple to continue to defy expectations and secure further contracts for Priority to assist with.
