West Ham Claimed They’ve Just Sold An “INCREDIBLE” Player With “GREAT TALENT”.

West Ham United sold a “great striker” with “incredible strength” to Atalanta in Serie A, demonstrating Gianluca Scamacca’s continued success away from the Premier League club.

Gianluca Scamacca’s incredible start to life back in Italy feels like a “salt meet wounds” kind of situation, with Michail Antonio and Danny Ings struggling even to buy a goal at the moment—the former’s sight of him firing over the bar from point-blank range in last week’s 3-2 defeat at Brentford summarizing his ongoing malaise.

Scamacca left West Ham United after just one season due to injuries to join Atalanta for a whopping £27 million in August. Furthermore, Antonio’s “irrepressible” play since joining Serie A hasn’t done much to decrease the perception that David Moyes gave up on a striker with more natural goal-scoring ability in one foot than he does in his entire body far too soon, much like he did with Sebastien Haller a few seasons earlier.

Gianluca Scamacca gives West Ham a glimpse of what’s lacking.

“Scamacca is a gifted athlete possessing exceptional physical, technical, and acrobatic abilities. Scamacca can score in a variety of ways, which makes him unpredictable, according to Paolo Nicolato, the Italian U21 team’s coach, as quoted by Gazzetta dello Sport.

As all great strikers know, he can create situations out of thin air. Despite his massive size, he possesses amazing strength and coordination, making him a true athlete.

Scamacca’s track record isn’t all that remarkable. Although the former Milan, Inter, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain target scored twice and assisted on another goal during Atalanta’s recent 3-0 thrashing of Empoli, five goals in five Serie A starts is undoubtedly quite the return.

Five Serie A starts, five goals

Gian Piero Gasperini, the Atalanta coach, gives special attention to the front line. We think the same thing. We were certain that Scamacca would bring a highly talented striker back to Italy, which is why we firmly believed in and wanted him. And for that reason, we made a big investment to acquire him,” club president Antonio’s son, CEO Luca Percassi, says to Tuttosport.

“Nine times out of ten, he scores when he shoots on goal.”

He’ll help us, as will the other recent arrivals. We are quite proud of our forwards because they are very intriguing.

Supporters of West Ham will not miss the irony that Moyes is expected to be looking for a new number nine in January, just a few months after selling Scamacca. We would advise giving Vangelis Pavlidis, Adam Hlozek, or whoever the Hammers get their hands on the time and patience they need to adjust to life in the Premier League. However, we are by no means qualified to offer advice to a coach with such extensive experience.
