The Seahawks were defeated by the 49ers in their Week 14 meeting on Sunday.
On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks led by their second-string quarterback Drew Lock went against their NFC West division rivals San Francisco 49ers in their week 14 matchup. In the heated rivalry game, the Niners linebacker Fred Warner and the Seahawks wideout DK Metcalf got into a vicious fight, leading to a late ejection.
During the final minutes of the game, the Seahawks were trailing by 12 points and the game was all but done. To seal the game, the Niners linebacker Fred Warner intercepted a pass from Drew Lock and tried to run it back to the endzone. But, the Seahawks wideout Metcalf wrapped up Warner, who lateraled the ball to his teammate.
As Warner was throwing the ball to his teammate, Metcalf lifted Warner and pulled him to the ground. The Niners linebacker immediately retaliated by shoving Metcalf and knocking the wideout into the grass. The Seahawks’ wide receiver didn’t let that disrespect slide and ran toward Warner to confront him.
DK Metcalf chased down Warner and got into a vicious fight with the Niners linebacker by grabbing his facemask. The brief video of Metcalf fighting with Warner went viral on social media and accumulated more than 559k views within hours of posting. Check out the footage attached below.

As a result of the vicious fight, the Seahawks receiver was ejected late in the game. On the sporting side of things, Metcalf caught 2 passes for 52 yards and 1 touchdown, but he couldn’t help his team outscore the defending NFC West champions, 49ers in their crucial division matchup. In the end, the Niners won the game and improved to a solid 10-3 record in the ongoing NFL season.
Fred Warner opens up about fight with Seahawks WR DK Metcalf
Following the brutal 28-16 loss, the 49ers linebacker Fred Warner opened up about his fight with the Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf. Warner said that Metcalf needs to learn to keep his composure.
Nonetheless, the 49ers managed to secure a crucial victory on Sunday. They are now tied for the best record in the entire league with 10 wins and 3 losses. They are still in contention for the No.1 seeding in the NFC playoff picture.
