The England manager, Gareth Southgate, has revealed his team for the North Macedonia and Malta Euro 2024 qualifying matches.
It features two Chelsea players, but neither Raheem Sterling nor Reece James, the team’s recent mainstays, are there.
Levi Colwill and Conor Gallagher, on the other hand, will be joining the Three Lions this weekend.
Since the World Cup a year ago, Sterling has not appeared on the field for England. Due to injuries, he missed multiple international breaks; however, Southgate has recently decided to leave him out.
Reece James was allowed to recuperate for two weeks, but he is still not fully fit.
Mauricio Pochettino thinks Sterling can disprove Gareth Southgate, saying, “He needs to perform.”
