Premier League heavyweights Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly offered €45 million to sign 20-year-old Argentine whizkid Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton & Hove Albion.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Facundo Buonanotte is the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur. The North London giants are scouring the market for a versatile attacker and have set their sights on the Argentine whizkid. They have offered €45 million to land the youngster, but fellow Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion might not accept the bid.
The rise of Facuno Buonanotte
Facundo Buonanotte has established himself as one of the best young prospects in the Premier League since joining Brighton & Hove Albion from Rosario Central in January 2023. A native of Perez, the South American playmaker spent his formative years in his homeland before arriving in England nearly two years ago.
However, the 20-year-old whizkid was in and out of the starting lineup at Brighton & Hove Albion in his first 18 months at the Amex Stadium, and the Seagulls loaned him to Leicester City in the summer transfer window. Buonanotte has been a regular for Leicester City this term, chipping in with four goals and two assists in 18 appearances across all competitions.
Meanwhile, Buonanotte’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe. A move across the Premier League might be on the cards, with Tottenham Hotspur among his prospective suitors heading into the 2025 summer transfer window.
