Upon Ancelotti’s appointment by Abramovich in 2009, the Blues achieved success on the home front.
Before being mercilessly fired in 2011, he won both the FA Cup and the Premier League in the same season.
Following several losses during the 2010–11 season, the seasoned Italian manager was let go from his position at Stamford Bridge.
Furthermore, after a loss, Ancelotti would receive a question mark from the departing Chelsea owner, according to reports.
According to Sky Italia journalist Fabio Caressa, as reported by The Sun, “Abramovich also texted him consistently, especially when things weren’t going well, as Acelotti told me.”
“He only sent him a question mark.”
But Ancelotti’s response would end with an exclamation point.
His overall record across all competitions is 20 draws, 22 losses, and 67 victories, giving him a 61% win percentage.
Ancelotti left Chelsea and went on to play for Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Everton, Paris Saint-Germain, and Napoli before coming back to Madrid.
There have been rumors for the past few months that Ancelotti may depart from Real Madrid at the conclusion of the 23–24 season in order to take charge of the Brazil national team.
Ednaldo Rodrigues, president of the Brazil Football Confederation, stated via ESPN: “Philosophy, not constantly changing it.”
“He [Diniz] consistently used the same approach… It’s a coach whose philosophy aligns with Ancelotti, the coach in charge at the Copa America. They seem to employ nearly identical strategies and ideologies.
“Instead he, the genius that is Carlo, answered him only with an exclamation mark,” said Caressa.
Ancelotti had the third-highest win percentage in Premier League history when he was fired, hours after his team lost 1-0 on the road to Everton on the last day of the 2010–11 campaign.
