Steelers: Nfl Analyst Makes Outlandish Prediction For Week 14

Following a heartbreaking Week 13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers are still furious. The Steelers fell short by a score of 24-10 in what should have been an easy win against a weak football club. Hopefully, the setback has encouraged them to get back on track in a short week against the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football.

Not only did the Steelers end up losing their matchup with the Cardinals, but they also lost starting quarterback Kenny Pickett to an injury. Pickett is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks due to the injury.

Looking ahead to Week 14, the Steelers have to rebound with a win. The schedule doesn’t get easy after this week. New England is just 2-10 on the season and should offer Pittsburgh another chance at an easy win.

Ahead of their Week 14 matchup, one NFL analyst has revealed a major prediction for Pittsburgh.

NFL Analyst Reveals Bold Prediction For Steelers Matchup With Patriots

Bill Bender of Sporting News made a prediction for the Steelers vs. Patriots game on Thursday night. He has Pittsburgh taking a very narrow win by a final score of 17-14.

As Bender noted, this game could be a very boring one to watch. Both of these teams are awful on the offensive side of the ball.

Coming into this game, the Patriots are the worst team in the NFL at scoring, averaging just 12.3 points per game. For the Steelers, they aren’t much better. Pittsburgh is averaging just 16.0 per game.

With Pickett out and Mitchell Trubisky in at quarterback, many believe the offense could get even worse. The Steelers will be banking on their skill players stepping up to boost the offense. Names like Najee Harris and George Pickens will need to put together big performances.

It will be interesting to see what ends up happening in this game. At 7-5, the Steelers still have a good shot to get into the playoffs. However, if they lose this game, those chances will drop dramatically.

Make sure to tune into Thursday Night Football this week at 8:15 p.m. EST on Prime Video to see if Pittsburgh can get back in the win column and shake off their brutal Week 13 defeat.
