After Several Unfavorable Comments, New York Giants Qb Eli Manning Makes An Unusual Decision.

The New York Giants’ starting quarterback for Week 14 has enraged fans.

The quarterback position has been challenging for the New York Giants throughout the season. Daniel Jones was the team’s starter before tearing his ACL and missing the rest of the season in 2023.

Tyrod Taylor replaced Jones in the starting lineup after he was injured, but he was hurt in Week 8 against the New York Jets and hasn’t played since. Since then, Tommy DeVito has been the Giants’ starting center. Fans recently learned who will start this week against the Green Bay Packers.

While a lot of fans are not big on the young quarterback, some are saying that he is the best option available and that he has been performing well given the circumstances he has been thrown into. Fans say that DeVito would perform well if the Giants had an offensive line that was able to protect their quarterback, and they have a valid argument. The team has allowed the most sacks in the NFL, with 69 of them through 13 weeks of the season, which is also a huge reason their top two quarterbacks are out with injuries.

The Giants are not pleased with New York’s decision to start DeVito this Monday night football, even though Taylor is expected to return to practice this week after being placed on injured reserve. DeVito has 3 interceptions, 7 touchdowns, and 697 passing yards since returning to action in late October. The New York public does not think DeVito should play out the 2023 season and is urging the team to replace the quarterback position immediately.
