Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette predicts the Steelers will sign either Brandon Aiyuk or Deebo Samuel from the San Francisco 49ers, though it’s probable they’ll sign another starting-caliber receiver. Fittipaldo said that in September, “They will have a number two receiver on their roster who is not on their roster now. I think it will be either Aiyuk or Samuel.” There are far too many talented receivers in San Francisco, therefore I believe there is still one more shoe to drop.
