REPORT: 49ers are considering re-signing their number three receiver.

The San Francisco 49ers need to go under the cap by March 13 since they are $5 million over it, according to Over The Cap.

San Francisco does not have enough cap room to re-sign every free agent.

There is one free agent they would like to bring back.

The San Francisco 49ers are interested in re-signing their number three receiver.

General manager John Lynch told reporters earlier today he is interested in re-signing Jauan Jennings.

“Jauan is really important to what we do,” Lynch said via the San Francisco Chronicle. “I think he continues to show that. If the tender is the vehicle to keep him around for another year … I think we’re also interested in extending him out. There may be an opportunity to do that. We’ll just have to see where that goes and if we can come to an agreement there.”

Here’s a quick review of Jennings’ NFL career and their options for 2024.
