Teenage attacker Zak Lovelace is expected to miss another two months after suffering an injury for Rangers B in midweek.
The former Millwall starlet joined Rangers in July 2022 and was expected to progress via the academy and into the first-team squad.
His breakthrough came in the Viaplay Cup last season while also getting some minutes under his belt during the 3-0 Old Firm victory over Celtic at Ibrox [Transfermarkt].

Primarily playing for Rangers B, Michael Beale then handed Lovelace a chance against Aberdeen at the beginning of this campaign in what was the manager’s final game in charge of the Light Blues.
Zak Lovelace impressed enough to prompt interim manager and Hall of Famer Steven Davis into giving the forward his first Rangers start in the following game away to St Mirren.
But after an encouraging 41 minutes, disaster struck for Lovelace. He was forced off injured on a stretcher in Paisley and understandably was absolutely distraught at the situation.
That was in October but Lovelace has worked hard on his recovery and made his return to the grass over the last month or so.
But devastatingly for the youngster, according to The Rangers Review, he faces yet more time in the treatment room after suffering a hamstring setback in a Rangers B friendly against Royal Antwerp.
