Rangers Players Rated In Prague Victory  “MOTM – 9”

Tonight, Philippe Clement’s team defeated Rangers 3–0 at Ibrox, securing a significant victory in Group C.

His song is well-deserved. He made two more huge saves and did nothing wrong, even though there was a brief tense moment with James Tavernier. Large claim made toward the end to release tension. 8.

Playing mostly well on defense, they were only slightly exposed in the first half and slightly more so in the second, losing twice to some excellent left-wing play from Prague. He maintained his composure to stay mostly in his own half even though his crossing and passing weren’t good enough. 6A lot of clearances, but he doesn’t seem to be imposing himself enough—this is a long-standing problem with him. Not as much of a mistake as in Prague, but he barely made an impression with 47 touches. It was a pretty low-key night for passing. Sleeping at the goal, receiving a stupid yellow card, and missing the next one—which is disastrous since, barring a miraculous recovery from Souttar, we won’t have anyone else to turn to.

Hilariously Rangers’ best defender on the ground by a distance, with 4 tackles and 4 clearances, winning in the air 3 times too. He actually had a solid game but he remains unseen – his passing was solid. 7

Barisic:

He was actually better than he seemed, even if he still appears physically weak. Prague didn’t get a lot of joy down his side, and he had a better match than he did v Dundee. Offered zero as an attacking threat though. 7

Lundstram:

Barely touched the ball; passing was poor for his standards, and it’s the worst he’s played for weeks. Just when he was looking back to his best form, this one was sadly back to his recent old. No defensive contribution is worth speaking about. 5

Jack:

Here’s, at last, an outfield player who actually had an obviously good match. Tried to make things happen, was operating as an AM, and was covering a lot of grass. He even stuck his foot in as much as he could too. 7
