Tottenham Hotspur aren’t being discussed as title contenders at the moment, but perhaps they should be.
The north London club had a bad run of form towards the end of November, but we mustn’t forget that they had an incredible run at the start of the season and they’re only six points off the top of the league as things stand.
It’s not unreasonable to think that Tottenham could get themselves back into the title conversation in the coming weeks, and speaking on Premier League Productions, Cilnton Morrison has been discussing how Spurs can get back into that mix.
Morrison says that he thinks Manchester City will win the league, but he says that Spurs could well have a great chance of winning the title if James Maddison is back from injury soon.

The pundit shared his verdict on the £40m man and Spurs’ title hopes.
“Tottenham top four this year,” Morrison said.
“You were talking about the title a few weeks ago?” The host said.
“Yeah, but I think Man City are too strong, but if Maddison comes back soon we’ll have a great chance of winning the league,” Morrison said.
Not unthinkable
Tottenham winning the Premier League this season isn’t as unthinkable as some may believe.
Yes, they’re fifth in the league right now, but they’re only one point behind Arsenal and Manchester City who are being discussed as perennial contenders even throughout their current poor run of form.
If Maddison comes back and hits a bit of form, Spurs could hit new heights once again, while the January signings of Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner will give Spurs a boost in terms of depth.
Tottenham are far from being title favourites, but perhaps we shouldn’t completely write off the idea of Spurs going and winning the league this season.
