Preview: Roman Reigns and The Rock Make Their Presence Known on WWE SmackDown (2/16/24)

To put it simply, this has been one of the most exciting and surprising journeys to the “Grandest Stage of them All” in WWE history, and this week’s WWE SmackDown will just add to the fire.

However, before that, the organization plans to take Perth, Australia by storm for the WWE Elimination Chamber, where everyone will have a clearer and wider view of WWE WrestleMania 40 once the event is over.

On this week’s WWE SmackDown, the remaining spots for the respective men’s and women’s Chamber matches will be finalized, with both winners advancing to WrestleMania to face WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and the victor of the WWE Women’s World Championship Title match between Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax.

On SmackDown, ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns and ‘The Great One’ The Rock discuss business. When you thought things couldn’t get any more exciting in WWE, they did. With that out of the way, here’s a look at WWE Friday Night Smackdown. Let’s run through it.

The 2024 iteration of Elimination Chamber is looking like a ‘can’t miss’ show as the weeks go by. The primary reason for this is both the Women’s and Men’s Elimination Chamber Matches. Both bouts have high stakes as the winners will go on to WrestleMania and challenge for the WWE Women’s World and World Heavyweight Titles, respectively.

For both contests, two slots remain. With competitors like Logan Paul, Kevin Owens, The Miz, Dominik Mysterio, Naomi, Shotzi, Zelina Vega, and Tiffany Stratton, a path to Perth is only one win away.

Who will punch their ticket and enter the Chambers for a shot at being the number one contender?
