Philippe Clement has issued a response to a Celtic question after Rangers beat Livingston 3-0 at Ibrox in the SPFL on Saturday, 3 February.
While Gers picked up three crucial points to keep the pressure on their cross-town rivals, Celtic dropped two points to Aberdeen.
Brendan Rodgers’ side could only secure a 1-1 draw at Pittodrie before Gers’ game against Livingston kicked off.
Heart and Hand shared on Twitter: “Asked if he paid any attention to the Celtic result he answers firmly: ‘no’.”
Celtic lose ground to Rangers
Clement’s response of “no” to whether he paid attention to the Celtic result reflects a focused mentality crucial for Gers as they navigate the remainder of the season.
In the intense rivalry between the two Old Firm clubs, every point gained or dropped can have significant implications.
However, for Rangers, fixating on their rivals’ results could prove distracting from their own objectives.
With the title race heating up, Clement and his players cannot afford to dwell on every outcome involving Celtic.
Instead, their priority must be on maximising their own performances and results in every match they play.
As the season progresses, maintaining this singular focus on their own performance will be essential for Rangers to achieve their goals.

With the Old Firm clashes yet to come and plenty of football left to be played, Rangers’ ability to remain concentrated on their own path to success will be paramount in their pursuit of silverware.
