Nottingham Forest are back in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon as they travel to the south coast to take on newly-promoted Nottingham Forest.
There remains less than a week for Ross Wilson and Evangelos Marinakis to wrap up the final pieces of transfer business.
Nuno Espirito Santo has seen his options heavily bolstered over the months with eight new signings having come through the doors at the City Ground.
Forest‘s summer was a solid one both on and off the pitch but they were left rueing their missed opportunities last weekend against Bournemouth.
However, there is still time for the Reds to add to their squad over the coming days as they look to really pull away from the relegation battle which they were stuck in last season.
And it seems as if there could be another new face heading through the doors of the City Ground over the coming days.
Nottingham Forest closing in on signing number nine
Forest are said to be closing in on the signing of Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah with the deal believed to be nearing full completion.
But there is another deal in the works which could see Forest add yet another player to their squad in what is turning out to be a busy summer window.
According to journalist Bruno Andrade, there is now a centre-back who is set to join Forest over the coming days.
It had been reported elsewhere that David Carmo was making the move to Olympiacos, however, there may have been a slight change to the plans.
Now, it is claimed the Porto defender is going to be signing for Forest in a deal worth €11m (£9m) plus €4m (£3m) in add-ons.
