Nottingham Forest have three goalkeepers currently competing for two places in the matchday squad at present.
Matz Sels was selected between the posts for matchday one against Bournemouth, with Carlos Miguel on the bench.
The current third choice is Matt Turner and he’s been linked with Bundesliga clubs before the transfer window closes.
Now, it would seem as though Forest could still move to try and sign another goalkeeper before the deadline which takes place a week on Friday.
Clearly, Forest will have to offload a stopper or two if another comes in but there is one man who is very much still in the sights of the club.
Nottingham Forest still like Arsenal star Aaron Ramsdale
The 26-year-old looks as though he will be leaving the Emirates Stadium this month with David Raya the first choice at Arsenal.
Ramsdale lost his place in the team last season but Mikel Arteta chose to keep both stoppers ahead of a tilt at the title.
Now, Arsenal are going to sign a number two and TalkSPORT transfer specialist Alex Crook believes Forest are in the hunt for Ramsdale.
He said live on TalkSPORT this morning: “We know that Wolves have got an offer of a loan deal with an option to buy on the table. That hasn’t been rejected yet, but I am told by sources close to Ramsdale that there’s a long way to go in that one.
“Southampton like him as well, and so do Nottingham Forest, so I think certainly he is one we are going to be talking about a lot in the next 10 days or so.”
