Nottingham Forest have now seen increased competition in the race to sign one of their top targets this summer.
The transfer window is now officially open and Forest are not looking to hang about in securing some early deals for Nuno Espirito Santo.
With Matt Turner one of the potential departures over the coming weeks, Forest have been linked with a potential move for Carlos Miguel from Corinthians.
And Evangelos Marinakis is looking to make additions across most areas of the squad with Forest also linked with a possible move for right-back Vanderson.
However, one position which is of keen interest for Forest this summer is up top with a new striker on the agenda for this summer’s transfer window.

Options up top are clearly of importance to Forest going into the new season despite Chris Wood impressing with a return of 15 goals in the league alone.
According to reports, Forest are keen to bring in Che Adams on a free following his exit from Southampton following the conclusion of his contract.
Wolves have been linked with a potential hijack of the deal to bring Adams to the City Ground already before the window even opened.
And fresh report from GiveMeSport has suggested Saudi Arabian side Al-Shabab have now entered the race to acquire the 27-year-old.
He is not their only option, though. The report claims the Saudi side are also keen on the former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
It seems the Saudi Pro League have options this summer but they may well also have considerably greater financial power than both Forest and Wolves.
