Nine clearances, 95% pass success… Nottingham Forest star shines and Reds might have struck gold

Nottingham Forest currently have a number of players away on international duty as Premier League football takes a back seat until the weekend.

It’s now the home stretch when it comes to the domestic action returning and fans will be looking forward to seeing Forest in action at Liverpool on Saturday.

Forest have no fewer than 14 players on international duty and the hope will be that all of the stars can return fit and healthy ahead of the weekend.

Neco Williams was rated highly by Wales during their 2-1 win last night and Morgan Gibbs-White will hope to get more minutes for England tonight.

Nikola Milenkovic stars as Serbia lose vs Denmark

Forest signed Milenkovic from Fiorentina for £12 million in the summer and it already feels like money well spent from a business perspective.

On Monday night, Serbia were trying to build on a very impressive 0-0 draw with 2024 winners Spain when they faced Denmark in the Nations League.

However, they couldn’t capitalise and slipped to a 2-0 defeat to leave more questions than answers for the nation ahead of the next international break.

However, one common denominator over the course of the two Serbia games was the performance of Forest star Milenkovic.

As his teammates struggled, the 26-year-old did at least stand up to the challenge of Denmark and finished with some impressive statistics.

Sofa Score gave him a 7.5 out of 10 for his performance and that was the highest rating of any Serbia player who took part in the defeat.

Milenkovic showcased his defensive resilience by making nine clearances throughout his 90 minutes on the pitch.

He also made a tackle, a block and two interceptions during the 2-0 defeat.
