Fulham have entered the race to sign Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United with Liverpool and Chelsea also interested, according to TEAMtalk.
The Cottagers are ready to enter the race for the Dutchman as they look to bolster their attack ahead of the new Premier League season.
Marco Silva’s side have named the 22-year-old as a “top target” and an “ideal replacement” for Willian out of contract at the end of the month.
Summerville is said to be happy at Elland Road but with interest coming from Liverpool, Chelsea and now Fulham, a Premier League move may be on the cards.
Fulham in for Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville
The Whites failed in their first attempt to achieve promotion to the top flight after losing 1-0 to Southampton in the Play-Off final.
The introduction of Red Bull as a sponsor and investor has certainly helped to ease some of those concerns which may see some stars stay.
Summerville, Georginio Rutter and Wilfried Gnonto were the forward options that fans were most concerned about losing.
The interest in Summerville is something that has refused to go away and given that he won Championship Player of the Year, no one could begrudge him a move to a top side.
With that being said, signing for someone like Fulham may sting as it doesn’t feel like a huge step up despite them being in the Premier League.
A move to a side in European football makes sense for Summerville but Leeds fans will hope he would rather stay over a move to midtable obscurity.
