Man United have really struggled for goals in the first half of their disappointing 2023/24 season so far.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils are likely to sign a back-up striker in the upcoming January transfer window.
The Red Devils are interested in a number of options from the Bundesliga like RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner, Borussia Dortmund forward Donyell Malen and Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy.
With that being said, despite their interest in a new striker, it won’t change their stance on Rasmus Hojlund.
The Red Devils are still trusting the Danish forward to be their long-term no.9 despite his shaky start to his career at Old Trafford.
Man United director John Murtough recently indicated that the club will be quiet in the January transfer window, so it remains to be seen if they can secure a striker signing – perhaps on loan.
