Lebron James Responds To The Last 2-Minute Report On The Lakers’ Heat Loss

LeBron James was not happy with the Los Angeles Lakers’ 108-107 loss to the Miami Heat on November 7. As a result, the team’s record dropped to 3-4. Not only was he upset about the defeat, but he and the Lakers also felt that there should have been multiple foul calls in the one-point game.
James finished with four rebounds, three blocks, three assists, and one steal in addition to his 30 points.
Clips were sent by L.A. to the league office for additional analysis. However, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the Last 2-Minute report was found to be truthful, which prompted James to respond.

On November 7, James wrote on X, “The game isn’t won or lost in the last two minutes.” Knowing the game, certain events take place in the first, second, third, and first ten minutes of the fourth that have a significant influence on the results.

ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reported on November 7 that “the Lakers’ main point of contention is how LeBron James was officiated, according to sources.” “The Lakers released several videos that they claim demonstrate obvious illegal contact between Heat defenders and James that the officials missed.”

James made just four attempts at free throws during the game. That equals the season’s low. Additionally, he is on track to equal his career low of 5.7 attempts per game in a single season. In his career, he has averaged that number of tries twice before.

Since he joined the Lakers, both have occurred.

James stated via House of Highlights on November 6 that “the explanations of what they’re telling me are not consistent with what’s happening on the floor.”

James has attempted 6.2 free throws per game as a Laker, which is less than he has done while playing for the Heat (7.8) or Cleveland Cavaliers (8.2). If James played in all 82 games, his 16 fouls in seven games would match his total from 2003–04. Given his history of injuries in his 39th season, that seems improbable.

Even if he succeeded, though, that would equal the fifth-fewest draws in a season as a whole.

LeBron James Updates His Heat Tenure Statement with a Qualifier

With the match, James’ tenure with the Heat was highlighted. The 21-year-old veteran’s four seasons at South Beach included two championship victories. However, James also feels that even if he had never signed with the Heat, his legacy would still have been the same. James has been open about his decision to leave the Cavaliers due to his inability to get players to sign with him in Cleveland.

Later on, he clarified that while he might have less hardware without the Heat, not much else would.

In a previous post on X, James declared, “You damn right, I would still be.” SELECTED IS ME! Nothing is altering that! Perhaps fewer [rings], but utterly dominating throughout.

After leaving the Heat, he was able to assist in raising a banner. In 2020, James led the Lakers to their 17th NBA title.

LeBron James is Passed by Nikola Jokic

James was surpassed by Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic on the all-time triple-doubles leaderboard while he was playing against the Heat. He completed it much faster.

It is merely one more notch on the star of the Nuggets’ cap. Three of their previous five regular-season meetings have been won by his team. In the Western Conference Finals the previous year, the Nuggets also defeated the Lakers, sweeping James and company en route to the title.
