With the NBA All-Star game coming up shortly, the voting for the participants has begun.
The NBA’s best will be attending the festivities taking place in Indianapolis, and it’s always a fun time for the fans.
Lakers star forward LeBron James finished in the top two for most popular players around the league in the latest voting stages.
Fan voting will be ending soon, but James is basically a lock to be a starter at this point. Should he make the team, he’ll have been named an All-Star for a record 20 times.

The Lakers will be well-represented at the All-Star Game once again, and it has become a tradition for this team. Both James and co-star Anthony Davis will be there, making it a cool rooting experience for the fans of Los Angeles.
James has played in 38 games this season and is having a spectacular year. In year 21 of his NBA career, James has found a way to continue growing his game.
He is averaging 24.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game. The long-time star is also shooting 39.1% from beyond the three-point line, which marks the second-highest total of his career.
James is still going strong and has shown no signs that he will be majorly slowing down anytime soon. The things that he is still able to do at age 39 are unlike anything that we’ve ever seen before.
Most players don’t make it past 15 years in the league, let alone still averaging over 20 points in year 21. James is one of the most special players to ever grace the basketball floor, and we should all be appreciating his greatness while he is still playing.
He has hinted at retirement recently, so the thought is there for him. But until he officially hands it up, James will likely remain one of the best players in the entire league.
