Key Update On WR From Tennessee Titans Coach This Morning

During the Tennessee Titans’ Thursday night game at Acrisure Stadium, their problems away from home continued. They let up a late 92-yard scoring drive and lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-16. Their season record now stands at 3-5 after this loss, and a clear trend is starting to show. Although they have an undefeated 3-0 record at home, they are winless when playing away from home (0-5).

Treylon Burks carted off the Steelers game

In the late stages of the game, the Titans were striving for a comeback, and rookie quarterback Will Levis attempted a deep pass to wide receiver Treylon Burks. Unfortunately, the pass wasn’t caught, and Burks ended up falling hard, with a heavy impact on his head.

Burks’ injury raised immediate worries for both teams and fans. The aftermath of Treylon Burks’ injury sent shockwaves through the stadium. Burks had to be immobilized on the field, and he was carefully carted off to ensure his safety. Although the incident was scary, there was hope, as the broadcast mentioned that Treylon Burks could move all his limbs.

Burks even offered a reassuring thumbs-up, providing some relief and hope amid the earlier concerns about his injury. Not only this, but even Titans’ head coach Mike Vrabel said positive things when asked about the update regarding Burks’ health.

During the post-game interview, Mike Vrabel discussed their loss against the Steelers and how they’ll improve their game. The team is looking to work on their flaws and become a better team after the loss. Amid these conversations, the head coach was asked about the health of their wide receiver.

Vrabel responded, “Oh, he’s alert and moving.” He stated that he’d have a better update the next day after the complete evaluation of the injury was done. However, Vrabel stated that the most important thing right now was that he was quite “alert.” Also, he looks to be able to continue training, if not directly participate in the game, as of now.

The head injury is something that’s taken way too seriously in the NFL. So, everybody grew worried the moment Burks suffered an impact on his skull. But things are not looking as bad. Hopefully, the fans will see him back on the field soon. What are your thoughts about this? Tell us in the comments section.
