As the new Kentucky Wildcats practice at the Joe Craft Center, La Familia will soon be suiting up in Rupp Arena, marking the return of former players like Willie Cauley-Stein, Kellan Grady, and the Harrison twins.
In the meantime, the current Kentucky Basketball team practiced with La Familia on Tuesday, which the school posted photos of on Twitter.

La Familia is set to begin TBT play on Friday vs. the 305 Ballers. Before that, they were reportedly set to scrimmage with Mark Pope’s bunch. It appears that’s what took place on Tuesday, as you can see several shots of plays like Otega Oweh dunking over Andrew Harrison, Jaxson Robinson shooting over a contesting Harrison, Oweh driving to the rim while guarded by Cauley-Stein, and Andrew Carr being guarded in the post by Nate Sestina.
If you’re not going to have a summer basketball trip like the past two years, this is probably the next best thing, so it’s great to see the new guys working against professional basketball players.
