ORLANDO PIRATES PART WAYS WITH COACH AMID MANAGEMENT DISPUTE

Johannesburg, August 12 – Orlando Pirates Football Club has announced the termination of their coach’s contract, effective immediately, due to irreconcilable differences with the management.

The decision comes after a series of meetings between the coach and the club’s hierarchy failed to resolve their disagreements over player selections, tactics, and transfer policies.

“We regret to announce that we have parted ways with our coach. Despite efforts to find common ground, our visions for the club’s future diverged, making it impossible to continue,” said Dr. Irvin Khoza, Orlando Pirates Chairman.

The coach, who led the Buccaneers to a top-three finish last season, expressed disappointment but acknowledged the irreconcilable differences.

“I appreciate the opportunity to have managed Orlando Pirates. Unfortunately, our differing views on the team’s direction made it unsustainable. I wish the club success in their future endeavors.”

Assistant coach, Mandla Ncikazi, will take charge of the team on an interim basis while the club searches for a suitable replacement.

Orlando Pirates supporters have taken to social media to express their shock and disappointment, with some calling for changes in the club’s management.

The sudden departure raises questions about the club’s stability and direction, with the new season just underway.
