CRYSTAL PALACE COMPLETE SIGNING OF ISMAILA SARR FROM MARSEILLE
Crystal Palace Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Senegalese international winger Ismaila Sarr from Marseille in a deal worth £12.7 million.
The 25-year-old attacker has put pen to paper on a four-year contract, committing his future to the Eagles until 2027.
Sarr, who previously played for Watford between 2019-23, brings pace, skill, and creativity to Palace’s attack. His signing is a significant boost for manager Roy Hodgson, who has been looking to strengthen his squad for the upcoming season.
“I’m thrilled to join Crystal Palace and can’t wait to get started,” Sarr said. “The club’s ambition and style of play excites me, and I’m eager to contribute to the team’s success.”
Sarr’s arrival at Selhurst Park follows the departure of Michael Olise to Bayern Munich earlier this summer. His signing is seen as a key move to fill the void left by Olise’s departure.
“We’re delighted to welcome Ismaila to the club,” Hodgson said. “He’s a talented player who will bring a new dimension to our attack. We’re looking forward to seeing him in action.”
Sarr is expected to make his debut for Palace in their upcoming friendly match against Napoli. The Eagles will be hoping he can make an immediate impact and help the team achieve their goals for the new season.
