Nottingham Forest Eye Move for French Forward Anthony Martial
Nottingham Forest is reportedly interested in signing Manchester United forward Anthony Martial, according to sources close to the club.
The East Midlanders are looking to bolster their attacking options, and Martial’s skillset and experience make him an attractive target. Forest manager Julen Lopetegui is believed to be a fan of the French forward, who has struggled for consistency at Old Trafford.
Martial, 27, has scored 79 goals in 268 appearances for Manchester United, but his playing time has been limited in recent seasons. A move to Forest could provide him with the opportunity to revive his career and play regular football.
Forest is expected to face competition from other Premier League clubs for Martial’s signature, but they are confident in their ability to lure him to the City Ground. A deal could be finalized in the coming weeks, pending negotiations with Manchester United.
If signed, Martial would be Forest’s seventh summer signing, following the arrivals of Jota Silva, Bradley Locko, and others. The addition of the French forward would significantly strengthen Forest’s attacking options and boost their chances of success in the Premier League.
