Nottingham Forest have one week left in the summer transfer window to add a new striker to their team. Nuno Espirito Santo might have used more firepower at the weekend to help Forest win their season opener against Bournemouth.
Chris Wood was able to pick up where he left off in the 2023/24 season, getting his account up and running for the term. However, the Reds were unable to capitalise on their early domination and were left regretting wasted opportunities. However, with only one week remaining in the transfer window, Forest are trying to sign one player.
Forest have already agreed to personal terms with Eddie Nketiah, and his Arsenal manager has remarked on his future.
Although Forest have made significant progress in their pursuit of Nketiah, a prospective deal remains in the works as the striker is still required to represent his current team.

Speaking from London Colney, Arteta revealed that Nketiah is due to train with them on Friday, although his future may be outside of north London. “I expect Eddie to train with us today,” Arteta told reporters.
