Joe Flacco Looks To Make History Passing Tom Brady

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) Nobody thought Joe Flacco would be leading the Cleveland Browns to their first playoff game in three years. Not only has Flacco led them to Houston for the Wild Card but he’s playing like Joe Flacco back in 2012.

It’s that very veteran experience that the guys will be looking for him to tap into facing a Texans team for the second time this season.

Right now, Flacco is entering his playoff debut with the Browns as one of the hottest quarterbacks in the league. The last time the Browns played the Texans threw for almost 400 yards performance with three touchdowns made some noise not only in the dawg pound.

You would have to think that this Texans team studied Flacco and the Browns probably a little bit harder this time around to limit what happened that first go around but for Flacco, he says they also have done the same.

“As far as playing these guys a couple of weeks ago, I’m sure there are things that we’ll take from the time that we played them,” said Joe Flacco. “But each game is its unique challenge and these guys are a good football team. We’re excited for the opportunity to go play a tough game.”

Flacco also has a chance to make NFL history on Saturday with a win. If the Browns beat the Texans he’ll pass Tom Brady for the most road postseason wins. Flacco and Brady both sit currently at 7.
