Ja Morant is out due to right shoulder labral repair, Steven Adams is out due to right knee PCL surgery, Desmond Bane is out due to a left ankle sprain, Brandon Clarke is out due to left Achilles tendon repair, Luke Kennard is out due to left knee soreness, Jake LaRavia is out due to a left ankle sprain, Derrick Rose is out due to a left hamstring strain, and Marcus Smart is out due to a right ring finger central slip tear.
The Indiana Pacers have seven players listed on their injury report: Tyrese Haliburton is out due to left hamstring strain injury management, Kendall Brown is questionable due to a G League two-way, T.J. McConnell is questionable due to personal reasons, Jalen Smith is questionable due to lower back spasms, Oscar Tshiebwe is questionable due to a G League two-way, Myles Turner is questionable due to mid back spasms, and Isaiah Wong is questionable due to a G League two-way.
Between the Memphis Grizzlies and Indiana Pacers combined, there are 15 players listed on their injury report. It’s a rare instance where the Grizzlies aren’t the only severely shorthanded team.
