Impact Of Tyler Herro’s Injury On The Struggling Offense Of The Heat

This is what Miami Heat star Tyler Herro’s ankle injury on Wednesday means for the struggling offense on the team.

The Miami Heat extended their winning streak to three games on Wednesday night despite having to deal with star player Tyler Herro’s worrying injury. Although the season is still early, the Heat offense has struggled, and the departure of their top scorer, who Herro himself estimates to have been gone for “probably a couple of weeks,” only serves to exacerbate the situation.

With about a minute remaining in the first quarter, he attempted a floater and landed on Jaren Jackson Jr.’s foot, injuring his ankle in the middle of a career-best season. You can hear Herro reacting to the injury as soon as he landed by hearing a yelp from the court. He appeared to hop to the locker room and briefly stand up.
