The Green Bay Packers showed out in their biggest game of the season to date. Green Bay went into US Bank Stadium and absolutely dominated the Minnesota Vikings from the start. The scoreboard read 33-10 as time expired, however, a garbage time touchdown in the fourth quarter by Minnesota made the score appear closer than the game actually was.
Now the Packers will turn their attention to the Chicago Bears for the regular season finale. A win means the Packers will make the post-season. One report has identified an outstanding defender the Packers should add given their updated draft position.

The cornerback position in Green Bay is in an interesting spot. As talented as Jaire Alexander is, his inability to stay healthy makes it challenging to rely on him for an entire season.
Clemson CB Nate Wiggins is a bit undersized, like Alexander, but is one of the best cover cornerbacks in this draft. His pairing with Alexander would give the Green Bay Packers one of the better cornerback duos in the NFL.
Would The Packers Spend A Premium Draft Pick On A Cornerback?
Over the past two seasons, Nate Wiggins has started at cornerback for Clemson. As a freshman, the 4-star prospect made his way onto Clemson’s special teams unit before becoming a starter as a sophomore.
As a press or off coverage player, Wiggins is versatile enough to play in both man and zone schemes. As a premier cornerback in the ACC, he was selected first-team All-ACC by various publications in 2022 and 2023.
The last time the Packers used a premium draft pick on the secondary was in the 2021 draft (Eric Stokes) and 2019 draft (Darnell Savage). With the uncertainty at the position going forward, it would make a ton of sense for Brian Gutekunst to spend a top draft pick at the position.
