It was just four years ago that Henry Ruggs inked a contract worth $16.7 million with the Las Vegas Raiders after the team took him in the first round of the NFL Draft out of Alabama.
He now makes $2.50 an hour working in a prison camp in northern Nevada, according to Las Vegas’ 8 News Now.
The 25-year-old former star got there, of course, after he was sentenced to a 3-to-10-year prison term back on Aug. 9, 2023 after pleading guilty to charges related to driving drunk, at a reported speed of 156 mph, and crashing into the car of 23-year-old Tina Tintor. That car burst into flames and Tintor and her dog died.
