Ezra Mam’s revelation about Adam Reynolds amid ugly dramas engulfing Brisbane Broncos

Broncos five-eighth Ezra Mam has admitted he has missed halves partner Adam Reynolds as the halfback prepares for an NRL return to help the struggling side. Reynolds has not played for the Broncos since round nine after he walked off the field with a bicep injury.

The halfback was a huge reason why the Broncos made the 2023 grand final having used his experience to guide a young team around the park. And the Broncos have struggled without their chief playmaker in 2024 as they sit outside the top eight on 18 points.

Brisbane is facing a dire situation and will need to win six of their last seven games to make NRL finals. However, they could use the help of Reynolds who is scheduled to return in round 22 or 23. Reynolds is already back at training and is hoping the Broncos can put together a number of wins to make sure they are still in contention for finals footy come his return.

And halves partner Mam has already expressed his delight at Reynolds’ return to the training ground ahead of their round 20 fixture. “We are not too sure when Reyno’s full return is. We are happy to have him back training with us,” Mam said.

He is definitely helping and guiding our halves and spine. Having him training is big for our team. When he comes back, we don’t know, but it will be a big impact for us.

“He has been very sad to miss out and wants to come back as fast as he can. I have missed him on the field, but having said that it has been a good opportunity for myself to step up and take control of the team. It has been a bit of growth for myself and handling the game.”
