Everton vs. Manchester United Team News and predicted lineups: Antony starts in midfield for Mount.

Everton vs Manchester United team news and predicted line-ups: Mount and Antony earn vital chance while goal-shy Rashford leads line

Manchester United travel to face Everton this weekend as they continue to be impacted by injuries to key players.

The Red Devils are aiming to make it three wins in a row with a depleted squad and also pile some Dyche’s side come into this game in good form but low spirits after receiving a 10-point deduction over the international break.

That means the Toffees are now in relegation trouble, with a win in their first game back the best way to boost hopes at Goodison Park.

Everton

Dyche only has Seamus Coleman, Andre Gomes and Dele Alli carrying big injuries.

England’s No.1 Jordan Pickford will of course start in goal.

He’ll be behind a somewhat settled back four that includes former Man United player Ashley Young at right back.

James Tarkowski, Jarrad Branthwaite and Vitaliy Mykolenko make up the defence.

James Garner has been a key piece of Everton’s midfield this season with the question being who will partner him in the holding role.

It looks likely to be Idrissa Gueye after he replaced Amadou Onana at halftime during the 3-2 win over Crystal Palace last time out.

Onana has since withdrawn from the Belgium squad with a calf knock, meaning he may not be risked with a start this weekend.

Jack Harrison and Dwight McNeil will be on the wings while the Toffees’ top scorer Abdoulaye Doucoure sits in behind the striker.

And that striker will be Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The big man has struggled with injuries all season and hasn’t completed a full 90 minutes since his latest return.

However, he is closing in on full fitness and will play a big part.

Manchester United

Man United have an ever-growing injury list that is impacting them on the pitch.

Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Tyrell Malacia are all out while Rasmus Hojlund could also be absent.

Luke Shaw is back in training but this game is likely to be too soon for the left back.

Goalkeeper Andre Onana has also picked up a knock while on international duty but he is expected to be fit to start between the sticks.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka should return at right back with Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof playing in the centre of defence with Raphael Varane out of favour.

Diogo Dalot could switch to left-back meaning Sergio Reguilon drops to the bench.

In midfield, Ten Hag has an issue with both Casemiro and Eriksen out.

After Eriksen was substituted with an injury against Luton, he chose Mason Mount over Sofyan Amrabat to come on in his place.

That indicates that Mount will start this time around with Amrabat a sub once again.

Captain Bruno Fernandes will no doubt be starting while Alejandro Garnacho will keep his place out wide.

Marcus Rashford started on the right last time out but is likely to drop into striker with Hojlund’s fitness a question mark.

Rashford netted 30 goals in all competitions last campaign but has managed to find the back of the net just once so far this season.

That will mean Antony comes back into the starting line-up on the wing.
