Eli Tomac is not considering returning to the Thai motocross as his health deteriorates during preparation.

Eli Tomac Rules Out Return to Thai Motocross as Health Concerns Mount

In a disappointing turn for motocross fans, Eli Tomac has confirmed that he will not be making a return to the Thai motocross circuit. The American rider, known for his dominance in Supercross and Motocross, has been struggling with health issues that have worsened during his recent preparations.

Tomac, 31, had initially been considering a return to international competition, with Thailand emerging as a possible destination. However, sources close to the rider revealed that his physical condition has been deteriorating over the past few weeks, making a comeback unrealistic. While the exact nature of his health concerns remains undisclosed, they have reportedly impacted his training regimen and overall performance.

This development comes after Tomac’s remarkable career resurgence following his Achilles tendon injury in 2023. The injury forced him to miss significant racing action, but he made an impressive comeback in 2024. Despite his determination to stay competitive, his body appears to be struggling with the demands of elite-level motocross.

In a brief statement, Tomac expressed his disappointment in having to step back from his plans. “I’ve always loved racing and pushing myself to the limit, but right now, my focus has to be on my health. It’s frustrating, but I have to listen to my body,” he said.

Fans were hoping to see Tomac compete in Thailand, where motocross has been growing in popularity. His presence would have been a major boost for the sport in the region. However, his withdrawal highlights the physical toll that years of high-intensity racing can take on even the best riders.

While Tomac has not ruled out other competitive opportunities in the future, for now, his priority remains recovery and

well-being.
