Being a professional athlete in Massachusetts, New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye should have the opportunity to meet other current and former athletes from the area.
Maye recently revealed to the New England media that he met star forward Jayson Tatum at a recent Celtics playoff game.
“Jayson Tatum’s pretty cool, although he’s a Duke guy. But, I’m still a fan,” Maye said, per Mike Reiss.

The Boston Celtics are currently up 2-0 on the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals.
Game 3 will be tonight in Dallas.
Right now, the Celtics are the hot team in Massachusetts.
They have taken the mantle from the Pats as the most successful professional team as things currently stand.
If the Celtics win the NBA Finals, they will pass the Los Angeles Lakers for most championships all time.
On the Patriots end of things, Maye will be looked at as the franchise quarterback moving forward if he can find a way to grow as the year moves on.
The No. 3 overall draft pick and former ACC Player of the Year has all the talent to be a successful NFL quarterback.
It will be up to head coach Jerod Mayo to get the most out of him in his first season as an NFL head coach.
In a loaded AFC East with three quality teams, on paper at least, in the Jets, Dolphins, and Bills, the Pats could be in for a rough year.
That is why the season will only be judged as a success if Maye can prove he was worth the No. 3 overall pick.
