Nottingham Forest are trying to sign new players ahead of the new season and appear to be leaving no stone unturned.
The Reds have been quite active so far, with five new players arriving at the club ahead of the new campaign.
One of those – Marko Stamenic – has gone to Olympiacos on loan but the other four are all out in Spain on the pre-season training camp.
Now, another player has been linked with Forest, with Alexis Saelemaekers wanted by a host of Premier League clubs.
Interest is currently rife in the Belgian and now a report has claimed when clubs might start to make bids for the winger.
AC Milan expecting offers for Forest-linked Alexis Saelemaekers
It would appear as though things are going to heat up with the winger and it could happen as soon as this week.
Leicester are seemingly in pole position after it was claimed last week that they will make the first bid.
However, according to Calcio Mercato, AC Milan are now expecting to receive offers this week for Saelemaekers.
In the report, it’s also claimed that the Reds will have to fork out £17 million if they’re to sign the 25-year-old this summer.
Saelemaekers is deemed surplus to requirements at the San Siro and Bologna – where he spent last season on loan – aren’t keen on a permanent deal.
The winger is now looking for a new club and has vast interest from the Premier League, with Leicester, Forest, Ipswich and West Ham in the race.
