It was a dramatic night at Celtic Park as the Hoops ended their group stage campaign with a win.
Celtic’s search for a Champions League triumph came to an end as Brendan Rodgers ended the club’s barren European streak.
A stoppage time goal from forgotten man Gustaf Lagerbielke handed the Hoops a 2-1 triumph over Feyenoord, giving them their first home win in Europe’s elite league in a decade. Yankuba Minteh appeared to have extended Rodgers’ and his side’s unlucky run when he leveled after 82 minutes to cancel out Luis Palma’s first-half penalty, but substitute Lagerbielke nodded home to break the jinx on matchday six of the campaign.
