With Their Celtic Allocation Of Tickets Response, The SPFL Mocks The Rangers Conspiracy

The worst conspiracy in football history has resurfaced, with holier-than-thou Celtic denying big bad Rangers tickets for the forthcoming Old Firm clash.

Despite Rangers leaping through the requisite bureaucratic hoops – and the SPFL acknowledging that Celtic must issue the Gers a reasonable number of tickets – the Parkhead club has been allowed to refuse Rangers credentials for their trip to Parkhead.

It comes after Celtic refused to take any tickets for the first Old Firm clash of the season at Ibrox, despite being offered over 700 briefs by Rangers.

Citing safety issues, Rangers adhered to every expectation from Police Scotland and Glasgow City Council ahead of the Scottish Premiership clash but it still wasn’t enough.

The Parkhead side, conversely, have told journalists that they want a return to the 7000 briefs previously given to their supporters at Ibrox before Rangers cut the allocation in 2018.

And really that’s what this is all about. Even if they’ll have to suck it up.

The Ibrox side are clear that after season tickets were sold in these seats, there will be no return to the old allocation. But in lieu of all this, we have just one question.
