Caitlin Clark Iowa creates more history as the matchup with Ohio State approaches.
Caitlin Clark moved within striking distance of Pete Maravich’s all-time scoring record with a 108-60 victory over Minnisota on Wednesday night, making even more history.
She surpassed Lynette Woodard for the major-college women’s basketball scoring record, after already being the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer. Woodard earned 3,649 points over four years at Kansas as a member of the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW). Clark scored 33 points Wednesday night, one more than Woodard, and is currently 18 points away from shattering Maravich’s men’s and women’s scoring records.
