Caitlin Clark ‘floored’ by Olympic legend Simone Biles in the Indiana Fever locker room.

WNBA star Caitlin Clark enjoyed a ground-breaking season with the Indiana Fever – but was star-struck by a surprise meeting with two Olympic gold medalists. Team USA gymnast Simone Biles and sprinter Gabby Thomas won six gold medals between them in Paris and stunned the Fever roster by supporting them at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Clark was the first draft pick and broke several records during her debut year with the Fever, including single-season assists and the rookie scoring record. The 22-year-old was named Rookie of the Year and is partly responsible for the WNBA’s boom in popularity through a phenomenon known as the ‘Caitlin Clark effect’.
