It remains to be seen whether or not Bruno Guimaraes continues at Newcastle United next season.
There have recently been suggestions that Guimaraes will in fact stay at St James’ Park this summer despite so much speculation about a move away.
Indeed, the midfielder has a release clause in his contract, which leaves Newcastle reasonably vulnerable should a club come in and pay £100m for his services during the transfer window.
While it was said that little about his demeanour after the draw with Brighton on Saturday suggested he was waving goodbye to home supporters, it is obviously difficult to ignore all of the rumours surrounding the Brazilian this summer.
