Defending premiers, Brisbane Lions will have two official tune ups, ahead of the 2024 NAB AFLW Season.
Following on from their successful 2023 campaign, the Lions will first travel to the Gold Coast to take on the SUNS in a Match Simulation on Friday August 9 from 12pm at Austworld Oval.
The Lions then return home to Brighton Homes Arena for their official practice match on Friday 16 August. The Lions will host Richmond under lights with the bounch scheduled for 7.15pm.
This match will give senior coach Craig Starcevich and the Lions a chance to put their pre-season learnings to practice against a Tigers outfit looking to return to finals in 2024.
Practice matches will be free to attend for all Lions fans and will be streamed on the Clubs channels.
With the home and away fixture for the 2024 NAB AFLW season confirmed, the Lions will use the practice matches as preparation ahead of their Round 1, Grand Final rematch with North Melbourne at Brighton Homes Arena.
