As if a third straight loss wasn’t horrible enough, the Steelers’ plight deteriorates.
The team’s best defensive tackle, Cam Heyward, has been placed in concussion protocol.
Heyward has had a difficult season due to injuries. He had a groin injury in Week 1 that required surgery, forcing him to miss the team’s next six games.
T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith were both in concussion protocol this week in preparation for the Colts game, but both were cleared to play, which could bode well for Heyward’s chances against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16.
