Bruce Springsteen has officially announced the release of Tracks II: The Lost Albums, a monumental box set featuring seven previously unreleased albums, set to debut on June 27, 2025. Spanning recordings from 1983 to 2018, the collection comprises 83 tracks, with 74 being entirely new to the public. This release serves as a sequel to his 1998 compilation, Tracks, which showcased 66 unreleased songs.

The box set delves into various phases of Springsteen’s career, offering a comprehensive look at his creative evolution. Notable albums include LA Garage Sessions ’83, bridging the gap between Nebraska and Born in the U.S.A.; Streets of Philadelphia Sessions from 1993; the unreleased film soundtrack Faithless; the country-inspired Somewhere North of Nashville; and Twilight Hours, a precursor to Western Stars.
Springsteen utilized the COVID-19 pandemic period to revisit and complete these shelved projects. In a statement, he remarked, “I often read about myself in the ’90s as having some sort of ‘lost’ period or something. Not really, really I was working the whole time.”
The collection will be available in digital format, as well as limited-edition 9-LP and 7-CD box sets. Each physical set includes a 100-page hardcover book featuring rare photos, liner notes, and a personal introduction from Springsteen. Additionally, a condensed version titled Lost and Found: Selections from The Lost Albums, comprising 20 tracks, will be released on a single CD and 2-LP set.
Fans can now stream “Rain in the River,” a track from the previously unreleased album Perfect World, offering a glimpse into the depth of this expansive collection.
