Following a disappointing loss on Friday night to the Denver Nuggets, the Celtics responded with a 116-107 victory Sunday night against the Houston Rockets.
This was an important win for the C’s on the 1st night of a back-to-back to gain some momentum going into Monday’s game against Dallas.
This was a very unorthodox win for the Celtics and shows the amount of great players that they have.
On a night where Jayson Tatum shot 4/17 from the field and scored just 17 points, Derrick White (21 Pts, 11 Reb) and Kristaps Porzingis (32 Pts, 6 Reb) were able to carry the team on the offensive end.
Jaylen Brown may not have had his most electric night scoring the ball, but he did manage to record his 3rd career triple-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 dimes.
Jaylen Brown tonight logged his 3rd career triple-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.

Kristaps Porzingis tonight became the first Celtic ever to record 5 blocks and 6 threes in a game.

Boston’s win tonight has them 3.5 games clear of both Milwaukee and Philadelphia as they head into their Monday night meeting with the Mavs.
Hopefully JT can bounce back from a rough shooting night and push the Celtics to another big win.
This team continues to impress me with the number of ways that they can win, which is exciting when you start to think about the playoffs.
The Celtics next game will be Monday night in Dallas against the Mavs. Go Celtics!
