San Miguel eyes Sheldon Mac to replace Jordan Adams

San Miguel is looking to make a switch heading into the second half of the 2024 PBA Governors’ Cup group stages.

The Beermen have brought in former Washington Wizard Sheldon Mac to replace Jordan Adams.

Multiple sources closely monitoring the situation have confirmed this development to Tiebreaker Times.

Mac will have his official height measurement on Tuesday, but San Miguel officials are confident he will meet the required limit. The 31-year-old native of Houston, Texas, is listed at 6-foot-5.

The Beermen are currently tied for second with a 3-2 in Group B, holding solo third place.

In his last game with San Miguel, Adams scored 41 points, grabbed six rebounds, and provided five assists in their narrow 113-112 victory over Rain or Shine last Thursday.

With Mac, the Beermen gain a proven scorer. After spending three years with the Wizards, Mac played in France, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela, and China. He last played for Puerto Rico’s Osos de Manatí.

San Miguel will next face NLEX on Wednesday.
